IGN organiseert ook dit jaar de IGN Summer of Gaming, omdat de E3 niet fysiek door kan gaan vanwege corona.Dit jaar zal er door de huidige corona-crisis wederom geen fysieke E3 zijn. Wel zal IGN dit jaar wederom de IGN Summer of Gaming organiseren in samenwerking met de organisatie van de E3. Deze zal enkele livestreams bevatten.
